On
Sunday, February 12 Abolitionists from San Diego traveled to Los Angeles CA to
preach the Gospel at the Grammy Music Awards. We teamed up with other
Christians and stood on the street to confront those in the music industry who
help form a godless worldview through the medium of music.
As
always it was a great privilege to stand on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ our
Creator, Lord, and Savior! As ambassadors for Him, we brought the word of
reconciliation to those who are dead in their sins. We pleaded with them to be
“reconciled to Christ” as we exposed the hidden things of darkness. These acts
of darkness such as child sacrifice were exposed by means of the signs that
were standing on the street next to the limos that passed by. These signs were
standing in the light that they might see the horror of that which much of
their music promotes.
By the
grace of God, the police granted us much liberty. The signs were allowed to be
on the edge of the street rather than the sidewalk. This gave a much closer
view to the abomination of abortion, an in your face presentation of that which
God hates. We were so close that I was able to extend my hand and offer a
“truth tract” to each limo that passed. I praise God that one limo slowed down,
lowered the window and received a tract! One limo out of a hundred! Praise God!
It is
interesting to note that we as Christ’s ambassadors brought the horror of child
sacrifice into the light for all to see. Those who are the seed of the serpent
hide behind tinted windows, their faces hidden in the dark. These are the ones
who write, produce, record, and perform the gospel of hell that empowers those
who oppose Christ. Through music people develop a worldview. A worldview that
promotes, encourages, and empowers men and women to murder their children
through abortion.
The Holy
Spirit brought us a young couple who questioned the signs. As we spoke the
young man confessed that he had “received Jesus” two years ago. He defended his
right to practice fornication with his girlfriend (non believer) based on God’s
character of love. Needless to say we plowed this hard rocky ground with the
plow of the Word of God. It was hard work and the young man did not like what
he was hearing. Hopefully down the road true conversion will spring up from
this ground! Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
